You Can Make a Difference
Each year, despite other organizations’ efforts such as United Way and Red Cross, and despite the efforts made by churches, public schools, and county social services, hundreds of children fall silently through society’s cracks.
2,500 children in Ontario County live in poverty (9% of families)
6,000 children are in reduced lunch programs
Nearly 3,000 youth require special nutritional assistance
Significant numbers of children are victims of reported abuse or maltreatment
Health plans that occasionally deny critical specialty equipment (ie. Beds, wheelchairs, oxygen, etc.)
Increased numbers of mental health concerns
Help Us Help Children
Begun during the Civil War, Ontario Children’s Foundation remains an effective and viable assistance program today, in part due to generous donors. Please, if you can, Help Us Help Children!
